What was your first computer? Mine was a TS-1000 2k of memory (the TS stands for Timex Sinclair). I still own it.

Expanded the memory to 16k with that plug in "box" on the back. Connected to a old B/W and it still powers up.

TI-30 calculator.

My first PC was a Commodore PC 10-2. It had two 5 1/4" floppies, and a whopping 640K of memory, along with an 8088 4.7 KHz proc... I later added a 30 MB HDD and a VGA card... when it got too slow, I bought a Compudyne, from good old CompUSA... I miss that store the way it was originally. When they tried to compete with Best Buy and Circuit City, Best Buy was left as the only survivor...

I owned a TRS-80 with a whole 4k of memory and then upgraded to a Commodore 64. I don't have my Tandy anymore, but my Commodore is up in my office (mostly to shock my kids with the computer games I grew up with).

Don't remember the exact model of the first computer I started using, but it was more than likely a tandem hand-me-down from the dads work. So I doubt it was anything special for being in the early 90's. He worked for what was then tandem and eventually Compaq until HP bought them out and outsourced everything... pretty much the reason I stopped buying HP. lol

When I was 10, my uncle bought me an Apple //c. The first computer I built was a 286 running at 25 megahertz (releasing the turbo button reduced it to 16) with 128kb of memory and a 40mb hard drive.
