<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>10th Mountain, 101st, 25th ID. Pretty much any light unit I&#39;ve been around are well liked by their members. Its physically more demanding but you get to do your actual job as an infantryman more frequently versus worrying about the up keep on a Stryker or Bradley.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Served in the 4th Infantry Division during the Vietnam War I won’t say it was my best experience but will say it was to say the most “memorable “ probably the best was being selected as an instructor at Ft.Polk after my tour,Infantry was all I knew back then and I expect it hasn’t changed much ,you walk a lot ,carry around a lot of heavy junk,and if the Country needs someone to get shot at ,Bingo you’re it!

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Go 173rd and you’re lucky that you don’t have to go Air Defense. My best times in the army was when I was in the Infantry. I am trying to go back Infantry if I don’t get Selected for SF.
