What was the goal of the women's march around the country?

I am a steadfast supporter of the freedom of speech and assembly. However, I am not clear on what was being protested. Would anyone like to discuss this or help me to understand?

I read a very long, rambling report about it posted by my Facebook friend. Basically they don't like President Trump or his policies. They are concerned women's rights will be set back 300 years. Ask yourself this, how many of those women marchers were liberal Democrats and how many were Conservative Republicans?

I think Trump was being protested by a lot of people with otherwise widely different agendas.

If You are Unable to Understand at this point. Nothing I could say would affect you. Maybe, Culture, Upbringing, Not that I am "Busting Your Chops (A New England Term that I fell In love With). I Get It. You are Unable to put Yourself in Someone Else's Shoes, Not Everyone Can.

THIS RESPONSE IS MY OWN. From what I gathered Sir. This march was in reference to a few things combines. The political hatred for OUR President, the signing of the executive order to FREEZE funding to Non-Government Organizations providing abortions, and to send a message that Women's right aren't to be infringed. Me personally, if you show me a job a woman cannot do, I'll show you an error in writing. Front line combat isn't an issue anymore, so what valuable excuse is there for a civilian sector job?

One of the organizer's of Saturday's Women's March in Washington D.C. Linda Sarsour has been rumored to have ties to Hamas. There are reports that she had met with a Hamas financier at a convention of the Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America in Chicago last month. There is also reports that she supports Sharia law but personally I haven't been able to find evidence of that claim. If this is true it takes validity away from the purpose of the march.

they say it was to send a message to Trump... depending to Whom you speak will depend on the answer you get and Each person will have as many as 6-10 answers for all those of tens of Thousands of women who protested ... or Rallied...
