PO1 John Crafton - Couldn't tell you that for the '09. I waited until the '10 model year to trade up to the new frame. It seemed to have more clearance as my previous model, an '02 FLHTC, used to scrape the floorboards in a hard turn all the time. I can't remember ever scraping them on my '10 or my '14 FLHTKs.

PO1 John Crafton - Re: ...a bike for each purpose, and a purpose for each bike... Yep. Springer = bar hopper/club bike/adrenaline junkie fix. Dresser = Iron Butt/haulin' stuff. ;-)

These are two of my scooters...a 2005 H-D FXSTS and a 2014 H-D FLHTK. The 3rd bike is my wife's scooter--a 2010 H-D FLSTC.

2015 Ultra Classic - I picked it up with 7 miles in May 2015, and I am about 500 miles from hitting 30,000 miles! I love riding this thing!

My everyday ride is a Honda VTR1000F, the tank decals are stock, but motor, frame. swingarm, brakes, transmission, controls, suspension, electrical, everything else has been modified.
There is also a DRZ485 Super Motor, stroked, big bore, ect ect.
Ninja 650R, that's my wifes ride

2008 Honda Gold Wing. Been to Sturgis twice, Run to the Wall 2008, along the west coast from San Francisco to Tillamook, Oregon. Most fun I've ever had.
