What thread brought you to Rally Point?

I distinctly remember a Stolen Valor Facebook post about a year ago that I could not open...it was a RP share and I had to frustratingly provide the site information to see it...came back last month in earnest and am hear to stay...I love the discourse and professional discussions to be honest!!

I signed up for RP back in March 2013 and set up about 70% of my profile and what not. I actually forgot about the site until I came back in April this year. I had posted a question about what to expect when I was going to Kunsan AB, ROK. Since then, I've been locked in and very interested in numerous topics of discussion COL Lee Flemming. I was extremely happy with most responses I received on my question as well.

My husband suggested I sign up. I did and was interested in some of the political rants! Then, I started getting points and it became a game and a connection to other military members. I like the space but sometimes it gets a bit too serious!

My battle buddy whom is my best friend recommended it to me. This site is very helpful especially when you need help with unanswered questions. It's a lifesaver for service members on the reserve and guard side that don't interact with their chain of command everyday.

FB got me interested in RP and I am hooked now. I enjoy discussing military related events and matters with like minded folks. I have learned a lot from the experience of others. Although, I do have to admit that I cant wait until the election is over.

Hello Sir, What a false USMC uniform, even his service stripes are incorrect, the ones pictured here are two sets of two each service stripes sewed one set upon the other!

I was looking into a case of Stolen Valor and found the knot head's fake profile here on Rally Point. I notified RP of my findings. He was outed and that's that. But I was so impressed by the unity I found here that I joined. I love it here!! You folks are all great!! Even the ones I don't agree with. ;)

I believe it was a stolen valor thread that brought me here as well, though it was over a couple of years ago around the time that the whole "Stolen Valor" thing was just starting to be massly shared.
