I compare what I was slammed with at 18 in bootcamp, and I sipped on that soda well, all these great ideas of valor-dignity-sacrifice-commitment-courage-honor ,and then as an adult I get to compare it against what the humans at the VA, do to VETS, and then I extend my thoughts as I review the history and current events are.??what the f-ck is life about??2015-11-21T04:57:41-05:00PO3 Aaron Hassay1123231<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am tired of games. You need to find your purpose in life and live your life on your terms. Allowing others to make you bitter and allowing yourself to stay bitter is a defeatist attitude. Find your passion in life and use that to get past all this.Response by SSgt Alex Robinson made Nov 21 at 2015 6:53 AM2015-11-21T06:53:02-05:002015-11-21T06:53:02-05:00PFC David Ryba1123308<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hang in there Aaron. At 17 I had a tough go of it in the Army. Life, in part, is what you make of it and it does get better as you go along. I think Sargent Robinson has some good advice. Be a leader. Find something your passionate about and purse it.Response by PFC David Ryba made Nov 21 at 2015 8:08 AM2015-11-21T08:08:53-05:002015-11-21T08:08:53-05:00SFC Wade W.1123459<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Treat your fellow humans with dignity and respect, take care of your part of the world and don't sweat the stuff that's beyond your reach brother. He said to me that a lot of things are automatic. They are.<br />Hon, I don't play games. I hate them. I would not know how to play them if I tried.<br />I want you to forge ahead with your valor, dignity, sacrifice, commitment, courage and honor.<br />You have earned the right to own those qualities.Response by SPC Margaret Higgins made Nov 21 at 2015 12:13 PM2015-11-21T12:13:51-05:002015-11-21T12:13:51-05:00MAJ Ken Landgren1123714<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Life is about writing on a blank sheet of paper what your dreams and priorities are. This world owes you nothing, no matter what you think you've done for it either! If you want to feel better about yourself, have peace of mind, an find your purpose(we all have one) and guaranteed to work; quit complaining, shut your mouth, close your eyes, an drop to your knees, and talk to God!
