I prefer another author who does similar type novels but very few men would try one of them. I&#39;ve read all of his books. I used Red Storm Rising as inspiration for the intel backdrop for a military exercise in the 1990s. As a young scout on the East German border in the early 80s, I read everything by him I could get my hands on. Eric von Lustbader was commissioned by his family to carry on the Bourne character.
