We gotta get out of this place (obvious reasons) House of the Rising Sun (Not so obvious - We had a place in Can Tho called Mama Sans and one night stayed up and partied all night and then at Sun Rise we went down to Mama Sans. Two GI's drunk as a skunk - not capable of doing much so we sat on the balcony with a cold beer and watched the sun rise.)

Did anyone ever record the modified ones? For instance when Detroit city became Saigon that sort of thing. The music was one of the things that I enjoyed the most in Good Morning Viet Nam. I used to listen for him to come on in the morning because that told me our patrol was almost over (PBRs 68=69)
