What should we do about the Russians?

It looks like we are considering using force to protect the opposition groups we support. What would you recommend we do to handle this?

That is one tough question. If we do use force and it escalates, we are in a shit sandwich. If we don't we look like Putin's bitch. Hopefully it will not come down to this.

My strategy is quite simple. Pull back and let them get bogged down in the fight. Let them expend billions and in the end we would come out stronger for it.

First off I question just who we are backing in Syria. Second we have refused to share intelligence with Russia, so how are they to know who we are backing.
But fact remains fact, the USA must stand up to Russia somewhere. But we don't have the leadership in Washington to do it...
