What should I expect at Pathfinder school?

The hardest army school I've ever done. Lots of rote memorization. Pay attention, ask questions if you don't understand, take advantage of any help they will give you. Expect it to be difficult and try hard and you'll be fine. It's not at all physically demanding but it is very mentally demanding.

Stay late to practice at every opportunity. Work on developing a good sequence when inspecting the loads. Pay attention to detail. Good luck. FILO

It's easy if you take your time. For real though, read each answer twice and select the best choice. That simple. Nothing you learn is hard about Pathfinder, people fail because they don't take the time to study, or are too confident.

Haha like the other guys said stay late and study, pick the instructors brains... Remember your basic algebra and be prepared to memorize a few conversions, numbers and short phrases for sling load portion.

Going through the school in 94 and then instructing from 98-2000, I would say find a couple buddies, study for several hours each night, talk to your instructors. I had even given my phone number out to my students so if they had any questions while studying, the could call me at home (Before 2100 hours)!
If you are so inclined, after a bit of studying, have a beer with your buddies, relax, and unwind. Self induced stress is a killer in Pathfinder School.

Lots of flash cards, late nights after class with instructors and other students going over your equations and charts that you will need to memorize.

Like SSG Moore said.....if you put the time in to study and devote the time just to the school and no other distractions it's not as hard as made be. Listen to what the instructors say and do not look too far into it. It's all about attention to detail and memorization. Trust me I know because I am a Pathfinder instructor
