Brian Kel 4439294 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Im trying to noin the army. I went to MEPS and I had fucked up and told them about an infection i had in my foot about 3 years ago and i had to send in all the documents i had from a hospital visit. Its been about 3 weeks since the documents where sent in and they came back and said they need more documents, but i gave them everything from my records at that hospital. I did not go to a follow up appointment because the doctor said if the abscess hasnt resolved, or i still have issues from if come to a follow up appointment. I cant give them something that doesnt exist and if thats what they are referring to, what the hell am i supposed to do. What should I do if MEPS wants documents that don't exist? 2019-03-11T14:47:38-04:00 Brian Kel 4439294 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Im trying to noin the army. In many cases, it is just like yours- the treatment protocol including the follow ups were never completed, hence your records missing the most important information-closure of the issue. You just need to go back to the doctor for a check up on the foot, and to get a letter stating that the condition is resolved. You let the Doctor do whatever examination is needed and explain the reason and have the Doctor type up something that details the closure of the issue and send it to MEPS. Additionally you get with your recruiter and explain things and they can advise you on anything else that needs to be done to close this loose end off. My recruiter says MEPS needs treatment records in order to continue through with the medical waiver. I just don’t want to sign off on my disability until I am guaranteed to enlist. I’d hate to lose my disability and not be able to enlist. Response by Cpl Luis Bolanos made Mar 11 at 2019 7:49 PM 2019-03-11T19:49:05-04:00 2019-03-11T19:49:05-04:00 2019-03-11T14:47:38-04:00
