After about 30 minutes, Range Control sent a M60 Patton over to shoo the herd away. There was a staredown between the tank and the dominate male. The tank backed down. About another half hour passed and the herd moseyed off and we resumed firing. Damnest thing I ever saw until the Brahma Bull affair during Operation Just Cause.
