Simple. What is your favorite PT Belt related story?

My favorite PT belt story is that there must be a Sergeant Major somewhere who owns a PT belt factory and has the exclusive contract with the military.

Was taking a CLS class, one of the lanes was reacting to a mortar strike on a FOB, so we go and start stabilizing. There was this one girl who was acting crazy and kept walking away or grabbing the fake legs and swinging them at us so when we got to the "BAS"(just a clearing with a sapling in the middle of it) one of the guys who had a pt belt with him tied her to the tree with it.

That a thread on reflective belts can exist, both entertains and saddens me.

My unit was having a sport pt day and a backpedaling soldier tripped while trying to catch the ball. One team was wearing blue belts the other green across our chests for easy identification. A nearby soldier tried to grab her shirt to stabilize her, missed and snagged her belt. She went to the ground, the buckle snapped and hit her right in the eye. The next day she she came to work and her eye was red. The impact had burst some blood vessels in her eye. for the next three weeks (until it drained) we told the privates that this was what happened if you annoyed 1SG with stupid questions. Eventually she got her eye back to normal.

Not really a funny story.....but certainly one question I always asked that made people give me the dog with ears up tilting head sideways look was....."If our APFUs are reflective, then why do we have to wear reflective belts?"
