That helped me a bit. Also consider tackling a passion project outside of the military. I usually see this in repetitive jobs like when I was in Finance. Same thing every day, just different people. I always looked for things outside my area to be involved in. Be in as simple as a different task in the office, or community service outside the office. Most people that hit the barrier if they are honest with themselves are in a job simple to get paid and do the same things in their regular life without realizing that is a rut as well. Be involved-may not solve everything but will challenge your mind and you may find something else out there worth doing.
