How did you do it? Me and my family (hopefully) are PCSing to Korea in May, and we have two dogs, (corgi&aussie) and are wondering how we can take them with us, or if it’s even allowed. You arrange it with SATO and the airline. They might be small enough for cabin travel. Otherwise they go in the hold in a carrier. You pick them up on the other side usually at the worst and most remote terminal. There will also have to be cleared by a Vet. The sooner you start the process the less headache you’ll have. Also keep in mind there will probably be cost as well. Filling out the proper packet at your levy brief is cruical. As for us Single soldiers, we're not allowed to have pets. <br />One more thing, Camp Walker units are permanently on Camp Humphreys, however I know my pin point orders change instantly upon arrival and went to Area I. The post veterinary clinic should have all the details on moving your pets just about anywhere. Can't comment on costs, because it's been years since I dealt with that part of it.Response by SPC Anna Larson made Jan 23 at 2019 11:32 AM2019-01-23T11:32:30-05:002019-01-23T11:32:30-05:002019-01-19T15:25:09-05:00
