What's the process for being notified that your sequence number is up for pinning E7?

SLC Complete, List made, just waiting for the notification? Like most others probably I don't have a whole lot of faith in my S1 so I'd like to know if there's anything else I should be tracking on my own.

The Army Times gets the active duty list every month and publishes it.
Most Active Duty NCOs still receive notification from their commands prior to reading it in the Times.

Check your iPERMS for your orders. Logging into AKO. Logging into your email as well. Once the order is published your rank automatically changes everywhere.

Once you get to this page you can click the "+Add to My Links" icon in the top right of the page, when the page is updated you will automatically receive an email. You can set the preferred email in your profile under the My HRC tab.

SFC Private RallyPoint Member Sequence numbers are announced world wide electronically for all to view, unlike centralized promotions to senior ranks that are digitally prepositioned, and senior leaders have access to so they can congratulate some and console others when the list is officially released army wide.

Like most do, go to the HRC promotions page, book mark it, and then hit screen refresh every 12.8976 seconds on the day new Sequence numbers are announced.
After doing so for SFC, I vowed not to play the game for MSG and SGM.... I first heard about making it from my Soldiers.

S1 is not responsible for notifying you. It will be announced monthly on HRC enlisted promotions. If you don't have the three years on your contract, you'll get an email from HRC on the 25th of the month prior telling you that you need to reenlist.
