With this capability, users can send secret data even while on the move and can inter-operate with command posts. For now the JBC-P equips Soldiers with a satellite network, secure data encryption, a common map, intuitive interface, chat and logistics information. Not bad - however unmounted in the size of a tablet this is the next phase of big data and CC2 in the battle space.

Attached is an unclassified budget on the roll-out for JBC-P which outlines future upgrades like a BFT 3 network.
