After the NCOs had asked us what we were all going to be doing during the upcoming weekend I decided to say something about how I planned to find a stripper, snort cocaine off of her, kill her, bury her behind the 10th St post office, and then proceed to do a butt-load of PCP and throw dump-trucks at pigeons... They didn't take kindly to my humor... After smoking me for a good hour (at least) we were then forced to have an hour long safety brief because I didn't know how to act right.

I know that meme is supposed to be funny but in reality, those soldiers could have been seriously injured. I mean come on, not a single PT belt can be seen anywhere! It's a wonder they're not already dead.

SGT Jennifer Rixe the entire 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (NTC OPFOR) had a no notice Safety Stand Down day of round robin safety training after a tank commander, as part of his retirement-last rotation extravaganza, decided to jump (actual air was attained) Barstow Road in his M551 VISMOD T-72. He failed to look left and right before doing so. What he did not see was that Lead 6, the Commanding General, was approaching and legend has it that he damn near hit his M998. Hilarity did not ensue.

In addition to the epic scream fest, the TC smashed his face into the butterfly on the .50 caliber on the landing. He required lots of medical treatment. Loader, gunner, and driver were all braced. No one died so we can laugh a little bit.

Always remember to read and understand directions on ordinance,like place “Front toward Enemy “ as in the case of a Claymore,you would be surprised at how many of my trainees got this wrong on their mock ambushes back in the day.

I’m not going to comment on the safety brief, SGT Jennifer Rixe, but I will comment on the meme, just for fun! Of course, the meme was made in fun and accuracy was never considered, but the baseball, which is 74.68mm in diameter, is being fired from a 60mm mortar! Hilarious!
