Though with simple calculations you can make the determination. Montgomery pays $1646 per month, out of which you pay the tuition, actually, you pay the tuition up front, and Montgomery reimburses you out of the $1646. Whatever is left over is what you have for housing and books. If you have the College fund or paid the kicker, then you add $250 per month to that, roughly $1900 per month. Montgomery is usually only better if you're going to certain online only schools, or have a full scholarship/Pell Grants to pay the tuition. Otherwise Post 9/11 is better.

It is critical to remember that if you go Post 9/11 you can't go back to Montgomery. Vitally important to do the research before you make the decision.Response by SFC Robert Allen made May 14 at 2014 7:14 PM2014-05-14T19:14:32-04:002014-05-14T19:14:32-04:00CPT Dahn Shaulis7131738

PO1 Ricky Allen here are some tips for making better career and college choices. https://rebootcamp.militarytimes.com/transition-tips/education/2018/10/17/8-tips-to-help-vets-pick-the-right-college/
