SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 6699005 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m 92A SGT stationed in Ft Wainwright, AK. I am currently working on an Aviation Packet with 29 March 2021 deadline. Thanks to the chief in my unit (923A), my packet is mostly complete - I&#39;m waiting on Flight Physical to get back as well as on my LORs.<br />Letters of Recommendation from my CDR and BC should not become a problem - but, understandably, these people are busy and will take some time to review my files. Currently, ETA for these two letters is somewhere in the middle of February.<br />My issue arises from the fact that I&#39;m PCSing February-March timeframe, and my next station, Ft. Leavenworth, does not have any pilots. I&#39;m concerned that the timeframe won&#39;t give me enough time to seek out a Senior Warrant Officer after my packet is complete in my current station. Simultaneously, there won&#39;t be any SWOs available in my next duty station.<br />My unit chief is going to reach out to his connections, but I would like to tackle this from my angle as well.<br />What would be the best course of action? Should I seek out a SWO in Ft. Wainwright before my packet is complete? Should I try to connect to a SWO in Ft. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Try and find a SWO on Wainwright beforehand and explain everything, usually the Warrant is one of your last stops in the packet, but it&#39;s not a rule. Explain and see if they will help you out. From Leavenworth there is Riley and Leonard Wood that are closer than Carson. But you can always do a virtual interview. I did mine on the phone from Carson while my SWO was in Afghanistan and it worked fine...it was actually easier to get than the Company and BN ones....
