The first time you go you get your ship date, then return your ship date and you leave. If you have to reclassified Meps will tell you that you can't take your pov but ait units prefer you get your own car. Once meps drops you off at the airport they're not monitoring you, that's only if you have to reclassified. But if you are keeping your MOS you leave meps and drive yourself to your duty station.Response by SSG Dennis Mendoza made Dec 2 at 2018 7:13 AM2018-12-02T07:13:52-05:002018-12-02T07:13:52-05:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member4175967<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was green on everything when switching from USAR to active duty and still had to go through complete medical at MEPS. But that was 2008 and for active duty commissioning so it may be different.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 2 at 2018 9:55 AM2018-12-02T09:55:43-05:002018-12-02T09:55:43-05:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4176098<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You are going to sit with a guidance counselor and they are going to make a phone call. They will get a list of jobs or a list of duty stations based upon the needs of the Army and the current business rules. You might have 1 option, you may get 3 options. After you make your choice you will sign some stuff, then get your finger prints re-ran and that is pretty much the extent of the day.<br />However as limited as your actions at the MEPS will be - it can still make for a long day. Then he worked on trying to find me a unit close to my HOR. Finally, the NG recruiter at my ROTC detachment pulled me to the cadet detachment at my school.Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 2 at 2018 11:24 AM2018-12-02T11:24:11-05:002018-12-02T11:24:11-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5475448<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm a little late to the party but I justed to verify.. If you are green across the board and PULHES is all 1's, you don't have to go through medical again? At all?Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 23 at 2020 3:46 PM2020-01-23T15:46:11-05:002020-01-23T15:46:11-05:002018-12-02T03:47:13-05:00
