Our other beastie is a pony... (Paint & Pont cross) ... who is just a pasture companion for the Morgan. I do like how light english tack is, though. <br /><br />No favorite breed, though I do have a heavy preference for Standardbreds and Morgans. I don't have the opportunity to ride at the moment (solo parenting), but I volunteer at a horse rescue. Below are two of mine at competitive trail events. When I was on active duty, I had a grade gelding (he passed away at the age of 23 a few years back) and my mule who's still with me in a semi-retired status.
