I’ve had field ops where I’ve slept on a cot in my mechanics bay for a week and had to Do resupply missions. It can be as close as home or a state away. <br /><br /> But since your active look at the field like this. If you can’t drink,fuck,or go to the barracks to rest and repeat...Then your in the field. That is considered field. Reserves and Guard are sometimes restricted to their duty location and stage a field exercise to simulate, so it would still be a field environment.
