What resources do you use for house hunting?

We had very good luck with HomeFinder.com for both apartments and houses. Still, we used the assistance of realtors that came personally recommended by friends and family

Trulia and Zillow are pretty good apps. Craigslist but that can be sketchy.

realtor.com has the most up to date information uploaded directly from the MLS system.

Well I don't know who does the placing of info when a house goes on sale, but when I was buying, my biggest resource was Zillow because I didn't want to just see what my home was selling for, I wanted to see what the neighbors homes were selling for to see if it was comparable. I also wanted to see what school district my house fell in because as a father I obviously want to send my kids to a decent school.

When I was looking to buy a house, I used a realtor that a buddy of mine used because I could trust him. But when I was doing all my research, I got all my info from Zillow.

I've always just hired a realtor. They handle the sales aspect freeing you for both the house hunt and home prep. Of course, I know my go-to realtor personally so it makes trust a little easier. Other than that, Zillow
