First would be the Dept of Veterans Affairs. If you are a member of a Service Org such as the VFW, DAV, American Legion, etc., they all have VSO’s Veterans Service Officers. They are trained and able to assist you navigate the VA System and benefits. There are several other very good resources out there on the Internet, just make sure they are legit.
