Didn't work out to well, soup sammich, didn't want to listen to peers who tried to help, knew it all, after being relieved twice as a Squad Leader he got Q'd. Left his M57(?) Claymore triggering device in the Patrol Base on the DMZ (I found it it, since we were the last ones out), and when it came time to clear he didn't have it. Lied when doing post ambush patrol debrief when it came time to do accountability of weapons, ammo and equipment at Camp Bonifas. To be fair, I asked the other Squad Leaders if they had their stuff, he said he did-until it came time to turn it all in. Then he claimed I stole it from him-like wtf?Response by SSG Sean Thoman made May 6 at 2016 7:13 AM2016-05-06T07:13:48-04:002016-05-06T07:13:48-04:00Jordan Gaudard1505700<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We got quite a few of them in my company, most are getting looked at because they are SSG with 4-5 years TIG and have never attended ALC. The good stories are the ones who said they got a 4-4 or worse NCOER because they didn't party with their rater. I didn't know that was a thing, but the truth comes out after they have been in the unit for a year and struggle with everyday Soldier task of "Right Place, Right Uniform"Response by Jordan Gaudard made May 6 at 2016 9:09 AM2016-05-06T09:09:36-04:002016-05-06T09:09:36-04:00SGM Erik Marquez1505748<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>"Personal differences, misunderstandings, missed appts etc?"<br />No, No and No..,,, but Im sure that is what someone QMP'ed will tell you..<br />Reality is <br />DUI<br />GOMAR<br />NO on NCOER due to substantiated Sexual assault <br />Court Martial conviction<br />NCOES failure <br />ect ect...... <br />If someone tells you there were QMP'ed because of "Personal differences, misunderstandings, missed appts " they are simply ignoring the truth or outright lying.Response by SGM Erik Marquez made May 6 at 2016 9:26 AM2016-05-06T09:26:41-04:002016-05-06T09:26:41-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1508002<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Bad NCOER for me 4,3Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 7 at 2016 5:10 AM2016-05-07T05:10:51-04:002016-05-07T05:10:51-04:00SGM Matthew Quick1508511<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Did you research the associated MILPER Message? Toxic leader; I found a way to escape his dominion. After he told me I was stuck working for him, outside my MOS, until I either PCSed or retired, he made sure the senior rater (who never counseled me in writing and verbally counseled me daily that I was doing great work - even the day I left said he hated to see me go and didn't know how he was going to replace me) gave me a 4/4, and the rater found a way to justify two "needs improvement" blocks (again no counseling in writing, and nothing but positive verbal counseling). <br /><br />Not crying - the milk is spilt, I have moved on, and everything else in my record is between "good" and "walks on water." Pretty sure I'll be retained, and if not, that's OK, too. Life goes on.
