So many people try to make something out of what is NOT said rather than taking what IS said at face value. I've changed the tone of my conversations quite a bit from my first year on RP. I do this for three reasons. First, I have always believed that those three topics can be very volatile and tend to spiral into some very nasty dialogue. Second, since I have been a member of RallyPoint, I have not had anything constructive to offer on any of those three topics. But since there is a politics topic I try to confine my comments to that particular forum and keep my name calling to a minimum. I also agree with religion, to the extent of commenting on keeping religion separate from politics, and must be careful when addressing topics involving gender.
