I've been rewatching This Old House and Ask This Old House and Tom Silva seems to always have an answer for everything. Who else has good content to learn about "how to" home improvement?

I love books to I have several DIY books. If I have a specific project I Google it then read and watch videos on the subject.

That's what I've been doing too. YouTube has been awesome but the "Ask This Old House" videos always seem the best.

Come along with Eric O. at the SMA shop as we go through the daily tasks of replacing the rear pads and rotors on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Look below for some...
I had a broken stud on a rear wheel of my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. The garage wanted $400 due to the disassembly that was involved. I spent $80 on a impact screw driver, a 2-foot metal pipe, and two jack stands. I got new tools and saved $320!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But man every step was a pain in the ass to figure out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWCMMUGcQAQ&t=962s
I also watch Ted Talks because they use experts and I learn stuff.

I've certainly done stuff like that myself. I had to fix a pipe and valve in the basement a few years ago. Simple job for a pro but probably would have set me back a few hundred bucks.

SSG Carlos Madden Yeah. I watched like 8 DIY videos, so I was fairly cognizant of all the steps. However, it was still challenging.

The only ones I know charge you. I prefer YouTube or Pinterest to get me started. SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4"
