Ironically, I hosted a cocktail party last night, about an hour into the party (after the fashionably late arrived), we all raised our glasses and sang patriotic songs & wished DJT & family safety & success.

It was a day and night filled with great events. I think my favorite thing was seeing Obama sitting there, and knowing that he could not do any more last minute pardons or commutations or executive orders. It was like a huge weight had just been lifted, and I could breathe freely again.

All of it CSM. I love every aspect of our Presidential Inauguration, its historic and a very awesome thing to witness...even if its on TV. My favorite is when there is transfer of power. Those words, man they send chills up my spine. Its a very awesome thing to witness. I hope for the best with our New CIC. I hope he gets stuff done, just a side note, I hope he stops fighting with the jerks in the media. We need him to work, let the media be liberal and love themselves...anyways all that to say, the whole day was awesome.

I don't know that I am comfortable with someone who says one thing on the campaign trail but can flip flop when he "wins". I think there are some character flaws there. The best times in American History may not have been the 40's, 50's, 60's or before that time. It is my hope he wants real unity as a gay man I can't see Mike Pence wanting that...I'm already less to him...and I was raised in his district in southern Indiana...sad

I thought the whole thing was great even the night before with the fire works that formed the American flag and the Red , White and Blue fireworks that spelled out USA and the parade with the Viet Nam Coppers and the wife said I remember that 11th Cav. symbol which I wasn't a part of but thought a few times it would be a trip riding with the dark horse !!!
