Aside from that i've also started College Credits and i'm at 30 SH. APFT and Weapon Qual. are good too. What other courses/things are considered for Points to pick up E5? 2019-04-09T21:41:58-04:00 SGT Derick J. 4530513

I've already completed SSD 1s, Finished my corresponding courses and currently being retrained to become a licensed driver for nearly all Army Tactical Vehicles and Forklifts. Or will you say you're going to ask someone online for the answer? Check out AR 600-8-19. Specifically, Chapter 3
You say SSD1 is complete and that your weapons qualification and APFT are good.
You need to work on your college credits - this will help you once you exit the Army as well.
That leaves board point. Well, have you considered getting in some practice attending boards? Talk to your Sergeant about going for a Soldier of the Month board. That experience can be invaluable. It helps give you a little more poise when you go into the board with your career on the line. Once you get promoted, keep up with your paperwork. I believe if you acquire an associate degree then you would max out the civilian education point system.
