What optics do you use?

Just curious what you use and if your happy with your sport optic? If not what troubles have you had?

I have a older Leopoldo gold ring 3-7. On my hunting rifle. My ar has a eotech and I love it. I'm in the process of building an ar-15 and am seriously looking at a Nikon m-223

This year I'm almost certainly going to be using irons. I need to fix or replace the stock on my Savage 110, and that's not happening right now. So I'll be using my Finn M39 in original condition. The 110 has a cheap Bushnell on it. Not because I like it, but because it was cheap. Anyhow, I've had it fog on me, and I suspect it of wandering as well.

I have a Leupold 10x40 Mark 4 LR/T 30mm and think it is great for long distance with my 7mm mag.

I have a fairly cheap scope a Banner 3x9x40 it isn't to bad. I've shot some big deer with it. It's on my 270. However I want to buy a 3x9x40 Nikon Prostaff BDC. Also if y'all don't know check out the Nikon Spot On app it's pretty cool and it's for their scopes but it'll help you zero any scope.

I've just picked up an eotech I want to try this deer season. It has performed well at the range, we'll see how it works in the field soon.

I always use iron sights. Only optics I use is a pair of pocket size Simmons binoculars.

I have Zeiss Conquest 3-9x42 on my 7mm-08, love it. Use Alpen Binocs. I think they are every bit as good or better then Leopold and possibly on par with Vortex for much less. I have Shasta Ridge 10x50 and a pair of 8x25 "stadium binocs" that both do really well. Depends on my hunting conditions and how much weight I want to carry as to which one I use.

I have a Pentax 3x15 on my .300 RSUM, it seems to get the job done well enough. The only trouble I have is that when putting rounds on paper you have to really take your time as the barrel will heat up and start to drift rounds.

I have recently switched to Vortex. They have a lifetime warranty. Unlike other optics companies, if I have an issue I take my optics to a dealer and they give me a replacement off the shelf. The dealer ships the optics to Vortex and Vortex replenishes the dealer.

I got an old set of 44 yr old eyes. Fortunately I am able to augment them with Nikon M308 4-16x42.

Been using an ATN X-sight 6x18 but have ordered it's next generation upgrade (Google atn x-sight ii hd 5-20x).Up until I turned 44 about 24 years ago, I hunted with a Model 29 S&W, open (iron) sights with an 8 3/8ths inch barrel. Eyesight started going south and I had to switch to optics. Yeah, I was influenced by Dirty Harry back then, but how many Alpha-Males weren't?
