I will have to post the pics later but, My left arm is military and on the outside forearm I have Iraq with scorpion and OIF 04-05 with the words Remember the fallen underneath. On the inside of that forearm I have Japanese kanji symbols for Strength, Warrior, and Medicine. Between both of those I have my combat patches 69th BDE, 25th and 82nd on the back side of my forearm so you can see them when I stand at attention and your behind me. On the tricep of that arm I have the skull with snake and dagger and the words Death before dishonor OEF 11-12.

When I was in you would be courts martialed for damaging government property if you got a tat.

I am still surprised to see all the ink on many SMs.

None, was against UNIT policy. No tats or UCMJ's for "Destruction of Govment Property" Also seen several SM's UCMJ'd for sunburns which made them miss work day, which was 24/7/365 for our unit.

After I got out, felt no need to get 1. Midwest still has stigma against tats & not any "Great" tatters here. Would have to travel/pay thru the nose to get a good 1.

I got this while I was doing Infantry training at Ft. Gordon in Augusta, Georgia in 1965, for $5. I heard the VC were leery of satanic themes, and they would cut tattoos off and make things out of them, so I got this skull that reads "Death To My Enemies"
It was BS, but I didn't know that before I went. LOL

Okay so most of my 18 tattoos are related to my time in the military but these are three of my favorite.

The 101st ABN patch is on my right calf. The Soldiers in silhouette is on my left leg, wrapping completely around it. And the leaf type tattoo is on my left inner arm.
