What medications do you have access to at Basic Training? 2018-05-31T00:55:51-04:00 PVT Private RallyPoint Member 3672840 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ive read that you can get otc medications at sick call, but what exactly do they have? excedrin? tylenol? They locked them all up the only “medication” we could keep on our person was throat lozenges. They will give you something only if you need it. You will only get what is prescribed to you by a doctor and as an initial entry Soldier if you need actual drugs (aside from OTC pain killers) you&#39;re more likely facing a separation packet than not. I had hernia surgery in Basic training, I was prescribed Percocet and sent home on convalescent leave for a month, came back and started basic all over again. If you need any medications likely you won&#39;t make it through the entire IET process.
