Before getting out I had recruiters talking to me left and right, asking me to submit my resume and even willing to hire me. Since I retired, and have been out for a year ... nothing. What's the difference? Now I actually have civilian and military experience in my field with a degree. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Personally, I don't think you were more marketable a year ago.<br />I think it was the need for personnel in the job field. Biggest thing I'd say is to go out and sale yourself now. Go to the Job Fairs on different posts. Army Community Service and ACAP hold them all the time. Fort Campbell has one every week.
