What are the key attributes that your past leadership had that you picked up throughout your career? Do you have that one person that you strive to lead like?

I’ve only been in the Army for a little over five years now. I’ve had some of the best leaders and some very questionable leaders. It wasn’t until late 2011 when all that changed. I was moved to a sister company to go down range with strangers in just a few short months. Before I knew it I would be deploying with family no longer strangers. It was in this same unit my outlook on the Army completely changed. From wanting to get out after doing my first term to wanting to stay in the military for 25 years and be a CSM one day. To this day I talk to my team leaders, squad leader, and platoon sergeant monthly. Seeking more advice and guidance from this great leadership I was provided with. I can never thank them enough for truly making the Army better every day. I wish to be half the leader you all showed me how to be while serving with you all and am truly honored.
Sat, 17 Oct 2015 02:34:46 -0400 What makes a great leader? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-makes-a-great-leader

What makes someone a great leader?
