When given a chance, I almost always went with Airborne or Special Forces Units. This was not because I was anything special, but I knew that the other men in the Battalion were special. With all respect to conventional "Leg" units, I didn't want to die, because some schmuk couldn't go without a cigarette in the woods at 2:00 AM. An example if soldiers volunteer to work weekends they will get two days off.
