It's about time. The majority of posts I have seen from indigenous people is they are for the change and getting rid of the stereotypical mascots.

Maybe if we hadn’t tried to eradicate every native between the Atlantic and the Pacific, violate most of the treaties we’ve signed with them, drive them off the land we gave them when we drove them off the previous land and continue to let them live in poverty maybe it would be different..

But all that stuff happened so here we are.
