BEIRUT — The Islamic State group killed three of its captives in Syria's ancient city of Palmyra by tying them to Roman-era columns at the site, then blowing the structures up with explosives, activists said Tuesday.
It was the latest gruesome method of killing by the militant group, which has become known for horrific beheadings and even immolation of its prisoners.
Earlier this week, the extremist group posted images on social media purported to show its members driving a tank over a captured government soldier, allegedly to avenge what it said was his driving over IS militants. The IS militant group is known to have tanks, mostly captured in battle from Syrian troops or in the territory it holds in neighboring Iraq.

The world needs to come together as one and declare that this group is a clear and present danger to EVERYONE on the planet. The world leaders need to put petty stuff behind them and band together and eradicate this disease from the face of the Earth.

They will continue to do this as long as we give them an audience. The moment they realize there is no more "shock and awe" in what they're doing they'll have to move to the next thing. In the meantime, we cannot and shouldn't go jumping into this with no additional support. The ME needs to ruck up and move out on their own accord to stabilize their lands, and not sit on their a**es saying America get here and fix this. I don't see the need for ONE US life to be lost over there when the ENTIRE ME is sitting at home drinking Chai talking about how stupid we are. Problem is we're not being beheaded or blown into next week and they are. Now who's stupid again?

Unfortunately this is exactly what you should expect from the thugs who blindly adhere to the wahhabi from of Sunni Islam CSM Michael J. Uhlig. Followers of Islam have been brutal before such as the Turkish attempt of genocide 100 years ago and the alliance of the Grand Mufti of Palestine with Hitler in the 1930's.
What we are seeing from ISIS, Boko Horan and al Shabab particularly is a ruthlessness which seems some what arbitrary but is most likely deliberately calculated evil events which are captured on video to intimidate those they wish or motivate those they want to lure to their evil caliphate wannabe
