What is your reaction to 'hash tag heros' and how celebrities on social media react to global terrorism?

'Hashtag heroics' is a hard-hitting phrase coined by NY Post columnist Rich Lowry describing how 'sheep' ineffectually respond to terrorist attacks and how it will take more than designer emblems and celebrities to deal with ISIS.

"Meanwhile, spare me the #PrayforParis hashtag. Forgive me if I’m unmoved by lighting world landmarks up in red, white and blue, or your putting a tricolor filter on your Facebook profile picture. And please don’t tell me, in the words of the designer Jean Jullien, that “in all this horror there’s something positive that people are coming together in a sense of unity and peace.”
Nothing positive comes from innocents getting shot down in cold blood for the offense of going to a concert on a Friday night. It there aren’t going to be more — and worse — attacks in our cities, the path ahead won’t be one of unity and peace. It will be the hard, thankless work of protecting civilization from its enemies."

Anybody that pays attention to celebrities on twitter is part of the problem rather than the solution.

And I thought that the footprint of the Great American Chicken was a thing of the past. I guess the silly left has a fond memory of American humiliation and cannot wait to stir that pot again.

"Hashtag heroics" or "hashtag activistivism" is the safest, yet laziest way for one claim they "were part of the solution" while washing their hands of ever actually having to DO something.
