As a result I have never quit taking classes in anything and everything that interests me at the time. I graduated from high school a year ahead of time and always took as many courses as they would let me in college and in the military. I have never quit. I have diplomas and certifications in things that I will never need but found interesting. Since almost everyone started offering courses online I have taken hundreds of them in all sorts of subjects. In my opinion you can never learn enough. At any given time, someone shoudl always be training, either in college, or technical schools, or technical development courses, or PME, and in other means of educations. I used to joke that I worked 80 hours a week, 40 working, and 40 in school, with periods of time speding 100 hours per week working or 100 hours per week in school where I did one or the other full time.

A more knowledgeable citizen is the initial goal as this provides a solid foundation for job training, but not the other way around.
