As the law is written in NC, every woman will have to carry their birth certificate with them to go to the restroom. This is to keep out men who became women out of those restrooms. Men who become women want to be with men and not women much less little children who shouldn't be in there unescorted in the first place. According to the DOJ no cases have ever been reported of a transgender assaulting a child in a restroom. There is no presidence here in my thinking.
Interesting how politics have exploded into whackery over the last two years.
P.S. Why are women looking into the stalls of other people to be worried in the first place?

I wish the President would attend to the proper business of the Executive branch of government as described by the Constitution. I wonder how many, like me, have no way to respond to this. With all of the problems confronting us, we have decided to focus on this one. The simple truth is that you can chop off your pecker, grow breasts, have a womb implanted, grow your hair longer, and whatever and you're still a man who chopped off his pecker, grown breast, had a womb implanted, grown longer hair, and whatever. I could make another list for women with the same result. How can I say such a thing? Am I a Neanderthal? Am I a bigot? Hell no. The simple truth is that one can make whatever changes they want but still cannot change their basic nature because they cannot change their genes. Either they have a "X" chromosome or they don't. And no amount of social engineering is going to change it either. Every man and woman has to learn to live in their own skins. Accept who and what they are. If they are trapped in the wrong body, understand that almost everyone else feels they're equally trapped. Hell, I'm a handsome young man trapped in a flabby old man's body. I suspect that may be as difficult to alter as a transgender. Also, to be perfectly honest, I'm not clear on the difference between transgender and homosexuality. No, you needn't bother to explain it, not for my benefit. Just understand that we have learned (or, at least, most of us have learned) to live with homosexuals among us without social engineering (like altering bathroom rules). Why are we now imploding as we struggle to change our world for the benefit of a number that seems even rarer than homosexuals? The bottom line is that I don't care about any person's sexuality, nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, ideological preference, or whatever other than my own. Yours is simply not my business. Please don't try to make it my business.

Sgt Private RallyPoint Member Funny....I posted exactly this subject and got chastised, reamed out and put down because i feel that transgenders....men who feel they were born in the wrong body ...feel they should have been born a female...want to become females...say and state they are females....as far as I'm concerned as long as they have male parts...they are male...no matter what...and just because it takes a year for them to get to the point and prove to a doctor and psychiatrist that they truly want to go through with it, doesn't mean they can use the FEMALE restroom... He cares about Global warming and the three tenth's of one percent,that I believe, have issues since I have an adult transgender step-daughter that has mental issues and is a pothead, a drunk as well with a 9th grade education and who is immature and confused about life so she gets high to escape it.

The President should care more about taking care of the 1% that do all of the serving, fighting and sometimes dying but instead we get pay cuts and he gives himself a better retirement package while Congress and gets the military retirement package pegged to a 401K.

The issue is going to backfire on the media as it will send more republicans to the polls come election time.
People have been going to the bathroom for a long time and there was absolutely no need for a policy by target or the president. This isn't a story, but the media made it one and into an issue. Now the govt comes in to play dad. America is sick of the govt stepping in all the time on what the media cares about, but not fixing the real issues such as infrastructure, the debt, our budget, entitlements, the shrinking military, etc.

It is an intentional distraction from some of the other stuff he is doing by executive order. It is also part of his final year's agenda to totally disrupt and destroy what is good and decent in America. By pandering to at best 0.001% of our population he is angering the majority who have had it with is far left liberal socialist agenda and policies. As we all know by now, President (Emperor?) Obama issued a May 13th directive requiring every public school in the nation to accommodate transgender students–under Title IX guidelines. Boys who identify as girls and vice versa must be allowed to use the bathrooms and locker rooms and shower stalls based on their felt “identity” of the day, and to play on the sports teams of their choosing. I would have to say I don't have an opinion about President Obama's transgender bathroom policy because he does not have one. The "policy" in question is not policy at all but guidance to schools that receive federal funding of their Title IX compliance requirements and how the Departments of Justice and Education expect said school to comply with Title IX requirements.

These same documents come out all the time as a Department recognizes that further guidance is required. For instance TSA has guidance at various times regarding airport security. The Department of State puts out new guidance on various countries all the time as the situation in those countries changes. Same for almost everything form farming to foods to medicine. All are updated at the departmental level with out Presidential signature. If you think everyone of them goes before the President for a briefing then you have absolutely no idea what actually goes on at that level.

At best the President would only be briefed on this in passing if at all. The equivalently of this is "What is your opinion about Army Chief of Staff GEN Mark Milley's personal leave policy for 1st Army Davison?" I suspect it is he has better things to do than worry about how soldiers in 1st Army Division take their leave. But who knows maybe he likes to get into the weeds on details like that, but I doubt it.

All I am really saying is that if you are going to passionately disagree with the President, which it seems many on here are doing, do it for something he has actually done. A it's a cheap shot and B it weakens your case against legitimate disagreements (you come off as a constant complainer and therefore have no legitimate reason to complain).

I am a Black man from Chicago and they have 400 people being killed there annually, why is he not trying to tackle that problem?
