What is your goto Meter in the field?

There are many types and brands of meters out there, which do you prefer?

I personally like anything that is a fluke they are sturdy and user friendly. My go to in the field is the A1 Voltalert Electrical tester, great for testing if a circuit is live or not.

Well Fluke is the top to go brand for many civilian professional too, specially in the engineering field. anything other than Fluke will consider "questionable" equipment :).

I keep a Voltalert on my belt just to check if there's voltage present if I get sent out on a tripped breaker or similar outage. I use a Fluke 117 to verify absence of voltage or see just what I do have available.

Fluke is what I used when I was in. After I got out, I bought a $30 off brand one and it does the same things the fluke did.

I use a Fluke multimeter. Not sure of the model. It is a fairly decent one. Mostly I just it to test voltage and continuity in mail processing equipment.
