I thought it was a good system. More Recently took MOAB and the Instructor complimented my kicking style and asked where I picked that up. I told him I took a little Tae Kwan Do when I was 17. When your 6'4" your Legs are a Readily Available Weapon. It is easier on my body than say judo or kickboxing. I am 47 and have to be much more careful and use my mind and experience over the younger guys. However, for real self defense if I can't 'diplomatically' avoid it- 911 or 9mm whichever is more appropriate for the moment. I have a very small build so I favor Jujitsu over other styles. At the same time, many do not know how to fight on the ground as opposed to stand up.
