I really enjoyed Spargel Soup [white asparagus soup] when I was stationed in Bavaria. I learned to enjoy Hungarian Goulash Soup with a wiener schnitzel and Pomme Frites and the Wilder Mann in Bamberg, Germany.<br />Here at home in the USA I enjoy cream of potato, vegetable beef, tomato, and Hungarian Goulash Soup when it is done well.<br />My favorite soups to eat out are French Onion Soup prepared in the oven of good steak houses and potato soup from Logan's. <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="340218" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/340218-sgt-james-allen">SGT James Allen</a> <br />I was limited to 20 in my original post so I added a response to invite you. Day 2, heat it up with some noodles and pour the soup over the noodles. There is no Day 3, its all gone! Response by COL Mikel J. When I lived in Colorado, it was a great thing for winter. Now I live in FL so the cold days are, well non existent. I have found that I like making stew and serving it in a pumpkin. I particularly like a good hearty vegetable beef soup, served with hard, crusty Italian (real) bread or cornbread. I also like tomato soup with crackers (actually Cheeze-It). Corn Chowder, clam chowder, ... and on and on. Also, chili is one of my absolute favorites. I don&#39;t like cold weather, but one of the good things about it is that it is a great time to enjoy a bowl (or three) of soup... :-) Damn, this has made me hungry... :-) Response by COL Jean (John) F.
