The bottom picture is of my Colt 1911 .45 cal. I was weaned on the .45 cal. My first experience was with one. I carried my colt as my weapon of choice while a Deputy Sheriff. I fired Master with it consistently.

My 1964 S & W .357 Magnum revolver. My Gramma bought it for Gramps for Father's Day 1964. She was pretty awesome :) . I've shot a lot of paper and many cans and empty liquor bottles with it.

SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member That's a hard question to answer. Favorites are favorites for various reasons for me. I view a firearm as a tool in some cases specialized for a specific job. When I was in college for instance and competed in international small bore competitions I had an Anshutz target rifle, IMO you cannot get a better rifle for that competition, however it is not well suited for other time a .22 would be useful.

My self built Caspian 1911 in 38 super 70 series, shot alot of steel targets, bowling pins, and paper targets, and winning the Steel Challenge, IPSC, and Bowling Pin competitions on Guam. And now a daily shooter, after I undressed the pistol and installing Novak sights.
