I started to bow hunt them in Florida. Never got one but got to see some cool stuff. If you know of a good spot go EARLY while they are still on the roost. You can wait until they come down or start to call. The rest is like any hunting. Sit and wait. Otherwise they'd call it shooting! LOL Where are y'all going to try? I've never done it when they aren't in timber.<br />Good luck!Response by TSgt David L. made Oct 3 at 2018 1:43 AM2018-10-03T01:43:15-04:002018-10-03T01:43:15-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member4016027<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don't do it in the spring? :D (Sorry, I am not hunt turkeys except at Safeway.)Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 3 at 2018 1:43 PM2018-10-03T13:43:44-04:002018-10-03T13:43:44-04:00SGT Jim Arnold4017353<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>beef, deer or hog much better than dry bird lolResponse by SGT Jim Arnold made Oct 4 at 2018 1:31 AM2018-10-04T01:31:59-04:002018-10-04T01:31:59-04:00CSM Andrew Perrault4021140<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Do your scouting, use decoy's, and be quiet and still.....get a crow call for locating them, and a slate or box call. During scouting find where they roost and hunt there that day. Patience is key......Good luck......Response by CSM Andrew Perrault made Oct 5 at 2018 11:25 AM2018-10-05T11:25:24-04:002018-10-05T11:25:24-04:00MSgt Kenneth Driver4039744<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We don't have them in the UK!
