What is your best advice for fall Turkey hunting?

I'm giving it a try this year, but I've never hunted turkey before.
Any seasoned turkey hunters out there; what advice can you give a beginner?

Man, Cayle, patients is the best advice. I started to bow hunt them in Florida. Never got one but got to see some cool stuff. If you know of a good spot go EARLY while they are still on the roost. You can wait until they come down or start to call. The rest is like any hunting. Sit and wait. Otherwise they'd call it shooting! LOL Where are y'all going to try? I've never done it when they aren't in timber.

Do your scouting, use decoy's, and be quiet and still.....get a crow call for locating them, and a slate or box call. During scouting find where they roost and hunt there that day. Patience is key......Good luck......

Turkeys are really infantrymen. They send a recon unit before movement and are quick to scatter to a new rally point.
