To care for them request Physical Therapy and follow their guidance.

I realize I started off on the hard side. Many people who join the Army get stress fractures in their feet and shins. You can recover, I assure you (not a physician) it is not likely the boots rather all of the activity that your body was not used to. Get Physical Therapy, follow the guidance and you should be fine. You have to take care of you. I had a 1SG counsel me, after a back operation, when I was a PSG. I was running with the slow group and she chewed me out for not taking the time to heal. She told me, and I tell this to whomever I think needs the same advice. She told me "the Army doesn't care about you because there is always someone to replace you". So take that advice and get yourself treated and buy yourself some good boots.
