Well something that stands out from recent memory was someone talking to me saying that the government doesn't take care of the military that's why they're always having gofundme pages begging for money. I'm not even 'in' anymore and even though it was a job, I find it unnerving that there are a vast amount of people who have a plethora of negative opinions about the military, there's many things said and probably many things have yet to hear. That'll get me going as well as a crazy relative

The reason for this question is that I have been name called and told I am a VALOR THIEF/LIAR about my service and I was never a 14E...just a clerk and nothing more-it hurt me severely and I feel like crap right now. To me, that is worse then beating me down-they tore me apart and returned all my doubt and insecurities from service time til now. Something I am fighting to keep at bay; 24 plus hours of NO sleep and crying ( I know, it's a girl reaction- I AM A GIRL after all!) and even in church I couldn't stop the tears from falling.

I need advise on how to cope with this.

When I was in basic, on KP, a random drill sergeant told me I'm the reason parents kill their children. I was taking out a bag of trash as he was throwing some away. All I could say was yes drill sergeant.
