They are now saying it will be all online. Has anyone done an online version of BLC and would be willing to explain the flow of it? Did you have to be online each day for 8 hours? Or was it more structured like online college courses in which you had assignments with specific due dates and times? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. What is the virtual BLC experience like?2020-07-14T15:40:04-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6101485<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hello all, I am scheduled (again) to go to BLC. It’ll be dependent on the school house of how long you all will stay in class because we were released after our class got done with the discussions and assignments due that day! This only started happening towards the end of the course because in the first week we were constantly doing things! So, yes it’s more of a college based course! Feel free to message me for any further questions, I’d be happy to assist!Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 14 at 2020 3:48 PM2020-07-14T15:48:08-04:002020-07-14T15:48:08-04:001LT Private RallyPoint Member6113582<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It’s dependent on where you ‘go’ for BLC. I went through Ft. McCoy, and was able to do it from the comfort of my bedroom. The two things that were not assessed were D&C and an in-person APFT (however had to submit a passing record DA 705)<br />We had accountability starting at 0630, followed by morning battle rhythm, and then class from 0700-1130, lunch break until 1300, and then more class from 1300-until done. Class was a mixture of lecture from the SGL’s, or group-guided discussions as a small team. Some days went right until 1700, others we were done at 1400, depending on the pace and material that needed to be covered. The only non-classroom part that we had to do was conducting PRT over Teams, definitely felt weird to do that! Please let me know if I can elaborate on any more or if you have any questions!Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 18 at 2020 11:37 AM2020-07-18T11:37:32-04:002020-07-18T11:37:32-04:002020-07-14T15:40:04-04:00
