What is the specific process of a Ch.5-17 medical discharge?

So, I am getting a Ch5-17 medical. They told me the process usually takes around 2 months, its already been 2 months. I have gone through the 5 day sfltap workshop and have the capstone tomorrow. Other than that, all I know is the chapter paperwork went to legal like a month ago and I haven't heard anything since. What happens next? I don't get a "pueblo" with a 5-17, and nobody seems to be giving me any direction as to what I need to get done. I don't want to get hit with a short deadline to get everything done. Any guidance/advice/knowledge of procedure would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Ch. 5-17 is an administrative discharge, which means that it can occur whenever the signatures are dry and legal has approved it. You could get hit with a short dead line, but most likely you'll know decently in advance when you're getting separated. No a PEBLO isn't involved because you're not going for a medical review board.

Right now you are literally just waiting for the blocks to be checked and the signatures applied. Also please use the search function.
